Welcome to Dry Creek Alpacas! 

Dry Creek Alpacas is located on the corner of Highway 371 and Howard Road in the town of Anza, California. Situated at just below 4,000 feet, we are now in our house with all of our animals on the ranch! Twenty acres in this scenic valley leaves plenty of room for our animals to stretch out and enjoy themselves. 

We began our journey on the internet, and like most would-be alpaca owners, we ended up on a local farm. Alpacas captured our imagination and we haven’t turned back since. We purchased our first two alpacas in February of 2005. I gave birth to our fourth child, Anthony, that April. Not far behind me, our first cria (baby alpaca) was born in June! 

We now own 26 alpaca. Our stud male, Monteggio of PVA, has been standing stud at Alpacas at Windy Hill and Anza.  He is made the rounds on the show circuit with that first cria, Luster King’s Peruvian Prince, and the next generation of alpacas. Monteggio won Color Champion at the California Classic in 2006.  His first cria are on the ground and they are beautiful, with Monteggio's lock and lovely red-based color.

Our goal is to breed the very best in Suri perfection. Simply put, alpacas have changed our lives, and they can change yours, too!
